Article: United Way's volunteers honored.(Keeping up with People)

At the United Way Victory Breakfast on Jan. 29, United Way Campaign Co-Chair Bob Wilt announced that the annual campaign was just 2 percent from the $700,000 goal set last September.

The breakfast was sponsored by Alcoa and the WestCoast Wenatchee Center Hotel and Convention Center. Certificates of recognition were sponsored by McDee's Art Center. The occasion marked the culmination of the 2002-2003 United Way campaign, and recognized volunteers, supporters and gifts in-kind from area businesses.

Wilt, Alcoa Works manager, co-chaired the campaign with Charlie Hosken, general manager of the Chelan County Public Utility District.
