San Antonio, Texas -- In the mind of Jim Calhoun, the score reads something like Georgia Tech 77, No. 1 Connecticut 61#.
Because to listen to the Huskies men's basketball coach, November's Preseason NIT semifinal result clearly needs an asterisk.
"I know we didn't have Emeka Okafor," Calhoun said Sunday. "He was like 2-for-9, couldn't play for the rest of the game. He was hurt. That's the first time we had problems with his back spasms."
