MALOLOS CITY Noting the exodus of people to the northern provinces this Lenten season, policemen in Bulacan have set up 24-hour motorist assistance centers on major thoroughfares, particularly on the busy stretches of the North Luzon Expressway and MacArthur highway.
Bulacan police director Sr. Supt. Felizardo Serapio Jr. said that the Bulacan Police Provincial Office, in coordination with the provincial government of Bulacan headed by Gov. Josie dela Cruz and different radio groups, has also mobilized Bantay Lakbay teams composed of police mobile units, barangay peace-keeping forces, firemen and paramedics and mechanics.
