I read with interest "Examining Elections Past" by Don Lifto (January 2004). Two years ago we began electronically merging registered voter data with school-based data and commercially available telephone numbers. We use Excel and Access for these purposes. Our member schools have found this information to be quite useful in their levy efforts.
I intend to include Lifto's article in the data for strategic planning notebooks we prepare for each of our districts. His ideas nicely support our efforts.
