Bachem (Budendorf; Switzerland) says it has been awarded a contract to manufacture the peptide drug candidate Lcatibant for Jerini (Berlin), a private startup pharma company. Lcatibant is a therapy for the treatment of liver cirrhosis and the immune system disease angioedema. Financial terms were not disclosed. Bachem will supply Jerini with Lcatibant for clinical trials.
