As one man put it, it's like "straightening up the house before you have visitors."
It is "manscaping," the "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" buzzword that means landscaping the male body - trimming, waxing, brushing, raking, whatever. What was once the sole terrain of women is now more popular among guys.
"It's important to have a clean look," said 25-year-old Charlie, who, like most of the men interviewed, asked that we not print his last name (manscaping, though wildly popular, is still private.)
Charlie, unfortunately, has a bit of a monkey on his back. As in, it's pretty piliferous. So guess what? ...
