FORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 8, 2004
Cash America International, Inc. (NYSE:PWN) announced today it has signed an agency agreement to offer Western Union services in its U.S. locations. The familiar yellow and black Western Union logo will soon appear on approximately 400 Cash America pawnshops, 140 Cashland payday advance and check-cashing centers, 20 Cash America payday advance sites, and as many as 135 Mr. Payroll check-cashing kiosks. These neighborhood locations will phase in the addition of Western Union money orders and money transfer services to their current product offerings during the remainder of 2004.
