FAIRFAX, Va., April 9 /PRNewswire/ -- The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) announced today that its seventh annual Food Allergy Awareness Week will be observed nationwide, May 9-15. This year's theme, Prepare to ACT: Avoid offending foods, Carry medications, Treat symptoms quickly, is part of FAAN's major education and awareness initiative to ensure that Americans with food allergies develop healthy avoidance strategies and life-saving treatment plans.
