Your editorial board's gentle jab ("Beer bill requires sober reflection," April 7) suggests that lawmakers must have been "partaking in a few too many free samples" when they passed a bill that strengthens a portion of the state's beer wholesale laws.
That's a pretty strong charge considering that three legislative hearings were held on the bill and the measure passed both houses with overwhelming bipartisan support.
It also happens to be unfair - and not quite accurate. Let me offer another point of view.
