The chemistry department of the University of Saskatchewan once again hosted a very successful J.W.T. Spinks lecture series, this year featuring J. Fraser Stoddart, from UCLA. The beautifully illustrated pair of lectures, entitled "The Nature of the Mechanical Bond" and "An Integrated Systems-Oriented Approach to Molecular Electronics," took place on October 23 and 24, 2003 and were delivered to large audiences.
