JACKSON -- In conjunction with National Biodiesel Day March 18, the Mississippi Alternative Energy Enterprise (MAEE) has released the results of a study on the feasibility of developing the biodiesel industry in Mississippi.
Commissioned by the MAEE and the Energy Division of the Mississippi Development Authority, the study found that Mississippi could be a potential player in the biodiesel industry. The study examined the cost of producing and utilizing biodiesel and offers recommendations to encourage the use of this alternative fuel.
