   SENATORS ASK BUSH TO INCLUDE CANNED FOODS IN SOVIET AID 
WASHINGTON, Nov. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, 22 U.S. Senators sent a letter to President George Bush encouraging the administration to include canned foods in the winter aid package to the Soviet republics.  The letter said that distribution of canned foods, which are precooked and shelf-stable, would help feed the Soviet people while grain for the aid program is shipped and processed.
