NASHVILLE, Tenn. _ Every now and then, Adam Hall will call the Michigan State hockey office to check up on things. Is everybody keeping up with homework? Is everybody playing hard?
Such calls, though, are on hold for now. These days, Hall, 23, is busy playing hard himself, helping his new teammates succeed in their first playoff series.
Hall, a former Spartan and a native of Kalamazoo, Mich., leads the Nashville Predators with two goals in their first-round series against the Red Wings. Game 4 is tonight at Gaylord Entertainment Center.
