UTStarcom secures USD 40 mln Xiaolingtong deal with China Telecom in Jiangsu Province
Shanghai. April 13. INTERFAX-CHINA - NASDAQ-listed UTStarcom, the largest Xiaolingtong, or wireless local loop, equipment vendor in China, has secured a new Xiaolingtong network expansion contract worth USD 40 mln from China Telecom for eastern China's Jiangsu Province.
UTStarcom will help China Telecom expand its IP-based Xiaolingtong network in seven cities across Jiangsu Province. In addition, UTStarcom will extend its mSwitch-based iPAS core network in two cities and its value-added services (VAS) platform for all of entire Jiangsu Province.
