IRVING, Texas, April 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Novation, the supply company of VHA Inc. and the University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC), has announced its 2003 year-end results, which included purchasing gains, increased member hospital satisfaction and positive program growth.
Novation has reported steadily increasing annual purchases since it began in 1998 with $12 billion. For 2003, Novation reported the highest purchasing volume in the company's history, and the industry's, with members purchasing $22.8 billion in supplies through Novation contracts, a five percent increase over 2002 volume of $21.7.
