Palestinian filmmaker Hanna Elias' The Olive Harvest garnered prizes in several international film festivals during 2003. In Cairo, it captured the Best Arab Film for producers Kamran Elahian and Hanna Elias and the Special Jury Award for director Elias. In San Francisco, it took the honorable mention Skyy Prize and was in the finalist category among 87 films entered in the Sao Paulo festival in Brazil.
