Western Movie Group to launch IPO next year
Shanghai. April 15. INTERFAX-CHINA -Western Movie Group, the Chinese producer of the hit movie, Warriors of Heaven and Earth, plans to launch an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the domestic main-board market and an unnamed overseas exchange market, in 2005, Jiang Li, VP of Western Movie Group, told Interfax .
The Xi'an based group, one of the six biggest movie groups in China, will be the first domestic movie enterpriseto launch an IPO.
