After losing a lengthy battle to open a gravel pit in the town of Verona, Payne & Dolan may be facing a similar fight in Brooklyn and Oregon.
Members of an Extraterritorial Zoning Committee are expected to act tonight on Payne & Dolan's plan to put a gravel pit on Highway MM in the town of Oregon, just north of Brooklyn. A community group is gearing up to continue its opposition efforts.
