E-Z-EM, Inc. (AMEX:EZM) commented today on a recent study published in the current edition of the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA.) The study -- "Computed Tomographic Colonography (Virtual Colonoscopy) A Multicenter Comparison with Standard Colonoscopy for Detection of Colorectal Neoplasia" by Cotton, et al. -- concluded that virtual colonoscopy compares unfavorably to optical colonoscopy in detecting polyps.
