Apr. 20--Moviegoers at Major Cineplex Group Plc may have to pay 20 baht more per ticket at prime Bangkok locations over the next two months as the country's largest cinema operator falls into line with rivals EGV Entertainment Plc and SF Cinema City Co.
Major CEO Vicha Poolvaraluck yesterday hinted at the price rise while denying that it was motivated by the company's desire to generate more cash to compensate for a recent slowdown in the cinema business.
