Apr. 20--Women's clothing retailer Chico's plans to open a store in the Charleston Town Center this summer, a company spokeswoman said Monday.
The Fort Myers, Fla.-based retailer opens in areas with customers who have high household incomes and sophisticated tastes in clothing and who are well educated, Chico's Director of Publicity Lexi Winkles said.
"Obviously, we saw those qualities there" in Charleston, she said.
The 2,152-square-foot store is set to open Aug. 16, but Winkles said she didn't know where it would sit in the mall. The retailer ran ...
