Apr. 20--ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The roar of a few thousand horsepower will rumble into Albuquerque on Thursday for the state's first-ever car show, featuring top manufacturers from the United States and around the world.
Some carmakers, eager to show off their futuristic concept cars at the New Mexico International Auto Show at the Convention Center, have been jockeying for display space.
And organizers who originally estimated the four-day show would draw about 30,000 visitors now say it should pull in more like 70,000.
