Apr. 21--Consumer frustration over malfunctioning vending machines may soon be somewhat alleviated for city of Orangeburg residents.
By a vote of 5-1 Tuesday, City Council gave first reading to an ordinance, suggested by a disgruntled councilman, to provide immediate remedies for defective operation of vending machines.
