Apr. 22--Robert Brooks, chairman of Hooters Air and Pace Airlines, has invested $1 million in a Charlotte, N.C.-based holding company that primarily deals in travel services.

Brooks made the investment in RCG Companies, Inc., and accepted a position on its board of directors.

One of RCG's subsidiaries is jl FlightServ, the parent company of Vacation Express, a vacation charter company which flies between Myrtle Beach and Pennsylvania and Ohio.
