Former Bloomingdale's buyer Deirdre Maloney has joined Brand Pimps & Media Whores (BPMW), the year-old youth market trend consultancy and fashion showroom, as a principal and co-owner. Maloney joined Brand Pimps founders Edina Sultanik and Minya Quirk after five years at Bloomingdale's, where she was named Buyer of the Year in 2003 for her work in the young men's trend and premium denim departments. At BPMW, Maloney is responsible for overseeing the sales team and for strategic planning for branding and marketing. BPMW clients include Rosasen, Same, Triko and Blue Guru, as well as the Agenda, Project and Pool trade shows.
