THE MIDLAND COMPANY ANNOUNCES DIVIDEND AND ELECTION OF DIRECTORS
CINCINNATI, Dec. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of The Midland Company (AMEX: MLA), at a meeting held today, declared a dividend of $11-1/2 per common share payable Jan. 6, 1992 to holders of record Dec. 23, 1991.
In other action, the board of directors of The Midland Company today expanded the board from 13 to 16 directors and elected the following new directors: William J. Keating, chairman of the board and publisher of The Cincinnati Enquirer; John W. Hayden, vice president of Midland and senior executive vice president of Midland's insurance subsidiaries; and John I. Von Lehman, vice ...
