Hardwar, Apr 22 (PTI) Curfew was relaxed on Thursday in phases in parts of the holy northern Indian city where the situation was under control after Wednesday's mob violence in which one person was killed and nearly 100 were injured.
Deputy Inspector General of police Ashok Kumar said the situation in the city was under control and no untoward incident was reported.
Curfew was relaxed for an hour beginning 10.30 GMT at Bhimgoda and from 11.30 GMT in Kotwali area, he said.
