The joint venture of BP and Tyumen Oil Co. (TNK) will be fully operational from the day the deal is completed in the summer, with 10% production growth seen in the first year and major aspects of future development already decided, according to the new company's future chief executive, Bob Dudley.
"The pace of integration is the fastest we have heard of," Dudley told delegates at the Russian Economic Forum in London last week. "The company will start off with our people behind their desks on the day of the legal completion."
