Diners Club North America and MasterCard International are negotiating a deal in which Diners Club cardholders' cards would be accepted at MasterCard locations around the world as a way of growing the Diners Club brand. If the two sides reach an agreement, MasterCard's logo would appear on the front of Diners Club cards, a Citibank spokesperson tells CardLine today. Citigroup owns Diners Club North America, and Citigroup's Citibank is the world's largest MasterCard issuer.
