NEW DELHI, April 21 Asia Pulse - Apollo Tyres (BSE:APLO) is set to make India an export hub in the next three years, augmenting its production capacity to 30,000 units a day besides investing Rs 1.5 billion (Us$34.2 million) to strengthen its position in the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) category.
"We are raising production at our Baroda facility to 30,000 units a day in the next three years from 7,000 units a day now to make India our export hub," its chairman and managing director Onkar Singh Kanwar said on the sidelines of a news conference.
