Merrill Lynch has poached Stephen Kemp, head of foreign exchange spot trading for Morgan Stanley in New York, to succeed Michael DeSa as head of global foreign exchange.According to an internal memo from Merrill Lynch, DeSa is leaving in two months after two years in the post to "pursue some long-standing outside interests, both personal and professional."
Kemp was Morgan Stanley's head of foreign exchange spot trading for the past six years.
He will be replaced by Jens Andersen, who will continue as head of forward trading. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Kemp was director of foreign exchange trading at Credit Suisse First ...
