Brazilian confectionery manufacturers are committed to supplying the global market with the finest quality chocolate and non-chocolate candy, backed by outstanding customer service and support.
Brazil ranks second in the world behind the U.S. in the production of sugar candy, and fifth in chocolate production.
Domestic annual sales are about $1.5 billion U.S., with chocolate accounting for $830 million and non-chocolate reaching $670 million.
ABICAB, the country's confectionery trade association, says while the home market will dramatically increase during the next three years, Brazil will continue to play a leading role in the export market.
