The State of California, Department of Consumer Affairs has awarded MAXIMUS (NYSE:MMS) a five-year, $8.7 million contract to manage a chemical dependency and mental illness monitoring and referral program for more than 700 health care professionals regulated by the State Boards and Committees. The Department of Consumer Affairs' Diversion Program is a statewide, and confidential monitoring and referral program.
