Deep Creek senior Chante Sessoms wears at least two layers of tights, sweats and shirts to every track meet.
"I don't care if it's 90 degrees outside," Sessoms, 17, said. "I always wear the same thing. Sometimes I don't have time to really warm up, and I just don't want to pull anything."
Sessoms doesn't have time to warm up because she competes in seven events. She runs the 100-, 200- and 400-meter dashes, the 400 and 1600 relays, and competes in the long and triple jumps.
