Editor's note: San Diego seems proud of its new downtown ballpark, but some in San Francisco take exception to the comparisons made with the Giants' own five-year-old urban baseball stadium. Is Petco better than SBC (formerly Pac Bell) Park? Here's a view from one Bay Area journalist:
