GENERAL DYNAMICS ATLAS II SUCCESSFULLY ORBITS EUTELSAT SATELLITE 
CAPE CANAVERAL AFS, Fla., Dec. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The first flight of a General Dynamics Atlas II today successfully launched a communications satellite for the European Telecommunications Satellite Organization (EUTELSAT). 
The Atlas II (Atlas/Centaur-102) lifted off from Launch Complex 36B, and successful separation of the EUTELSAT II spacecraft, built by Aerospatiale (France), occurred approximately 30 minutes after liftoff as planned.  Early indications are that the satellite is in a nominal orbit.  However, orbital data and spacecraft systems information will be made available within the next 24 hours ...
