Geron Corporation (Nasdaq:GERN) announced today that it has entered into a non-exclusive license agreement with XenoTrans, Ltd., under which XenoTrans is granted rights to use Geron's nuclear transfer technology to produce transgenic pigs. XenoTrans' strategy is to produce genetically modified pigs for the purpose of generating organs suitable for transplantation into humans.
