Determined Darren Flounders stole the show as the Northern Saloon and Sports Car Championship got underway in record-smashing style.
The ever-improving Hartlepool driver showed some excellent track-craft as he carved his way through the field to take a class win at Knockhill.
And it was a just reward for Flounders who was forced to start his first race in his new ex-David Pearson Fiesta XR2 at the back of the grid.
