One could say Francisco Elson is using his experience against Kevin Garnett.
How's that?
Well, Elson, a rookie big man for the Denver Nuggets, is older than Garnett. Elson turned 28 in February; the Minnesota forward won't be 28 until next month.
Whatever it is, Elson doesn't seem the least bit in awe of Garnett, a nine-year veteran who is expected to pick up the NBA's Most Valuable Player trophy next month. With his solid defense against Garnett and some timely offense, Elson has been the biggest surprise in the Western Conference playoff series.
