THE MARKET for hair care in Brazil, the most populous country in Latin America, is expected to jump $100 million this year, to about $1.85 billion, thanks to the recovering economy, more liquid disposable income and more creative offerings among multinational and domestic companies. Annual growth for the Brazilian hair care sector during the next several years is projected to average 5.7%, close to twice the regional Latin American hair care average of 3.5%, according to Euromonitor International.
