Defra and the Scottish Executive have launched a major public consultation on British Waterways' performance.
The exercise, part of a larger five-yearly review of the corporation, will gauge how effectively British Waterways has been operating within the Government framework set down for it in "Waterways for Tomorrow" and "Scotland's Canals: an asset for the future".
It will give feedback on how British Waterways might better meet customer needs and Government policies.
