In a boisterous comedy involving twisted practical jokes, mistaken identities and too much champagne, Madison Opera will say goodbye this weekend to the Oscar Mayer Theatre with an English production of Johann Strauss' well-loved operetta "Die Fledermaus."
"We've been in the Oscar Mayer Theatre since 1980, since it opened. And since that time, we've done 34 productions of 25 operas," says Ann Stanke, Madison Opera's general director.
