CHRYSLER RECOGNIZES 1991 PENTASTAR AWARD WINNERS
HIGHLAND PARK, Mich., Dec. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Chrysler Corporation
(NYSE: C) today honored 250 suppliers for their overall achievements in the 1991 model year.
Robert A. Lutz, Chrysler president, said at the seventh annual Pentastar Awards luncheon that Chrysler recognized more winners this year than ever before.
"We tightened up the Pentastar Award criteria for 1991 over 1990," he said. "Less than 5 percent of our suppliers qualified. Yet we still had more companies qualify for the award this year than last."
Last year, 215 suppliers were honored. There were 168 repeat winners ...
