ARLINGTON, Va., April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- washingtonpost.com today announced it will begin a trade advertising campaign in May that focuses on the site's extraordinary election year strength. The campaign will run into the fall.

To make clear how well washingtonpost.com attracts an affluent, educated and influential audience, the new ads use images of common things that are known for having a strong attraction. For instance, the first print ad shows bees swarming to a nest.
