Budapest. April 28. INTERFAX-EUROPE - GERMANY'S CONTINENTAL TO INVEST EUR 20 BILLION IN HUNGARY. German automotive parts manufacturer Continental AG will carry out technological developments worth at least HUF 20 billion in Hungary over the next five years, said Gabor Horvath, managing director of Continental Temic Hungary Kft. The group has three units in Hungary, with revenues of HUF 80 billion last year, planned to rise to HUF 85 billion this year. The parent firm recently announced the planned acquisition of Phoenix AG, which, if approved, would also mean the group gaining control over Phoenix's Hungarian operations. ...
