Apr. 30--CBL & Associates Properties Inc., the nation's fifth-biggest shopping center company, is launching it biggest-ever advertising campaign to promote its 64 shopping malls.
"As CBL continues to grow, we felt it was important to increase the visibility of our malls," said Barb Ivankovich, the Chattanooga-based firm's vice president for corporate relations and mall marketing.
The campaign comes as CBL officials saw 64 store closings in the year's first quarter due to bankruptcies, already exceeding all of 2003.
