Medan, Apr 29 (ANTARA) -- Tax Director General Hadi Purnomo pointed out that Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is not an overseas exit tax free area in the northern tripartite economic cooperation betweeen Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand (IMT-GT)."We consider Kuala Lumpur as not belonging to the IMT-GT, and therefore taxpayers travelling from Medan or any other region covered by the IMT-GT to Kuala Lumpur, are required to pay exit tax," he said in Medan Thursday.
