May 1--WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- Picture it: You're head of publicity for the biggest commemoration that Virginia's seen in five decades the 400th anniversary of the founding of Jamestown. But financial help from the state to draw tourists to the event is shaky. Corporate sponsors to help finance the multimillion-dollar event have yet to sign.
And then, suddenly, a Hollywood movie studio steps in, set to make a motion picture on --what's that, you say? -- the founding of Jamestown.
