Whittle Communications is operating on its doctor's office media service again. When the reconstructive surgery is completed in March, its Special Reports, a three-year-old television and print-based system, win have been reduced from six magazines at its inception to just one.
Other print-based media elements have been added. The moves are designed to better integrate the components of the system. They come at a time of great flux for this diversified, 21-year-old Knoxville, Tennessee-based media company.
