A s Aston chancellor, Sir Adrian Cadbury has handed over degrees to practically every student passing through the university in the last 25 years, missing only one graduation ceremony in the process.
It makes Sir Adrian uniquely placed to comment on the changing face of student life.
'There have been great changes in dress,' he said.
